Industrial Action
The problem is to not get the general public offside.
I suggest that a possible solution may be a rolling action where selected areas are not serviced.
My suggestion would be Northbridge from Fitzgerald To William and Roe To Brisbane on a Saturday night from Midnight to 3.00 am.
This would not affect the public we want to keep onside whilst also sending a message to the problem drunks. If they walk to the edge of this zone then they may be picked up and drivers dropping off can pick up but otherwise it is out of bounds.
I t also sends a message to the authorities that we are an essential part of keeping order in Northbridge.
If we still pick up from the edge of the zone we shouldn’t be that disadvantage financially.
The trick is to get all drivers to abide with this action.
